At Tom's Trunks, we firmly uphold our core principles: Slow Fashion, Giving Back, and Sustainability. However, the most crucial aspect for us is transparency. Throughout the past 9 years, our relentless commitment has been to manufacture top-notch garments while minimising our environmental impact. We have been fortunate to collaborate with partner factories that have played a vital role in our growth by producing garments of exceptional quality, thereby teaching us the true meaning of excellence.

In January, we introduced the initial version (V1) of our White Flipin' Linen Trousers. The overwhelmingly positive feedback and uptake from our customers left me astounded. Driven by our desire to continually enhance our products, I reached out to customers to learn how we could further improve this particular item.

Working closely with our production partner, we embarked on a journey to create the finest linen trousers available in the market. I am immensely proud of the fit and design we have achieved. However, upon receiving the final product, I was disheartened to discover that a few elements of the garment did not meet our standards at Tom's Trunks.

Today, I am faced with two options: to return the entire order, resulting in unnecessary wastage, or to accept the trousers as they are. As a brand that embraces the principles of slow fashion, the wasteful option is off the table. Therefore, I have made the decision to list these items at a reduced price, ensuring that we minimise any potential waste while ensuring that we are still able to pay our partner factories.

Here's what has changed in the improved version (V2):

The eyelet design on the flippable waistband has been enhanced.
We have incorporated a slightly lighter fabric for a more breathable wearing experience.
However, I am not satisfied with the quality of the stitching on the waistband.

Please note that the size, fit, and cut of the trousers remain unchanged.
